Understanding Read Rating Track Reports

Read Rating has developed a scientific barometer to accurately assess track conditions. Each track throughout Australia is given a time standard per class against which the track ratings are calculated.

Read Rating Track Ratings are based on evaluating the average time per 200m against the standard. For example, on a (1) track, races are running between 0.05secs to 0.2secs slower per 200m against the established time standard for that class on that track.
